What are the maximum laser cut sheet sizes and what materials are available to us?
Here is a list of the maximum thicknesses and materials that we offer:
Mild Steel: smooth edge up to 10mm thick – most people use 3-5mm thick
Stainless Steel: smooth edge 8mm thick – most people use 2-5mm thick
Aluminium: smooth edge up to 5mm – most people use 3-5mm thick
Corten (rusted steel):
The largest sheet size is Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium is 3m x 1.5m
The largest sheet size for Corten is 3m x 1.5m
Generally speaking what is the weight of each laser cut panel?
It would depend on the size of the panel, the thickness of the material chosen and the actual design chosen to determine the exact weight.
In terms of installing, a thin material such as plaster of blue board will be fine to handle it if used the appropriate fixtures.
Panels can be securely fastened onto any surface or material.
What is the basic costs of the decorative screens?
A very simple design which covers a small area on a panel/screen will require less laser cutting and design modification than a more complex design/pattern, therefore will cost less.
A more complicated design or pattern which covers more area and which would require more intricate laser cutting would therefore incur a higher cost. Many factors influence the cost of the screens, the material you wish to use and how thick you want it, as well as the finish you require, all influence the end price.
Our projects are generally custom designed and made to suit your individual requirements.
